ความตึงเครียดทางการค้าและแนวโน้มภูมิทัศน์เศรษฐกิจโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ทำให้ประเทศไทยซึ่งเคยเติบโตจากการส่งออกในสภาพแวดล้อมทางการค้าโลกที่เปิดกว้าง กำลังเผชิญความท้าทายครั้งใหญ่ เมื่อโมเดลการพัฒนาเดิมไม่สอดคล้องกับโลกที่ปิดกั้นมากขึ้น พร้อมกับแรงกดดันจากปัญหาโลกรวน การเปลี่ยนแปลงเทคโนโลยี และสังคมสูงอายุ จึงถึงเวลาที่ไทยต้องเร่งหา “โมเดลใหม่ในการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ” ที่เหมาะกับบริบทปัจจุบัน

Trade tensions and the evolving global economic landscape have posed significant challenges to Thailand, a nation that previously achieved growth through exports in an open global trading environment. As the traditional development model becomes increasingly incompatible with a more protectionist world, coupled with pressures from global turbulence, technological transformation, and an aging society, Thailand must urgently seek a “New model for economic growth” appropriate to the current context.
